Just Venting!!

We recently put a couch downstairs in Dr K's office because a friend gave us their old one. I got it to put in our family room that we don't have, but hope to someday. He said since there was no family room yet, he could put it in the office. Big mistake! He lives down there now! He comes home from call and sleeps down there! Uggggg! Yesterday he got home early, about 3:30 and went straight down to the office. I went down several times (a clue that I was lonely and wanted his company) to find him reading or on the computer. I told him I thought it was convenient that he didn't come up until 8:15 after I had struggled bathing the kids and putting them to bed all by myself. He said he had no idea what time it was and that I should've just asked him for help. He said he would've come up. Just goes to show that communication is soooo very important in a relationship. Sometimes all we need to do is tell them how we're feeling and try to come up with a compromise. Now, if I could just remember that!
