Are our comments confidential?

Recently something I had said at either one of our gatherings or on this blog got back to my hubby. I might say things or explain how I would react in a certain situation, but if that situation were to actually arise, I never react the way I said I would. I am an over reactor in thought, but not in action. Needless to say, the comment that got back to my hubby sparked a two day argument. My understanding of what we say to each other is suppose to stay between us. I actually have no problem if my comments are shared with spouses as long as the spouse doesn't go back and share it with my husband. If I feel that what I share could be compromised, then I guess I will not share my comments anymore regardless of whether they are positive or negative. Does anyone else have a comment or thought on this?
